SFI partner with UGL for Eraring Power Station Shutdown

SFI are pleased to announce a partnership with UGL on their shutdown of Eraring Power Station in Lake Macquarie in the NSW Hunter Valley.

SFI are providing tooling, equipment, and industrial supplies, including PPE as well as equipment hire and temporary store facilities. This extends to specialised tools and plant rental as well as general tools and equipment. Supplying approximated 85,000 industrial supplies and 500+ pieces of tooling and equipment.

Eraring is Australia’s largest power station and one of the most important power stations in the National Electricity Market (NEM). This coal fired power station plays an important role in the transition to renewable energy sources, while continuing to provide reliable energy to the grid.

Project Details

The site for the project features 1 x 20ft fully integrated temporary tool store, featuring tooling, equipment, and industrial supplies, servicing more than 400 workers.

This project is an overall solution for equipment and tooling, tool stores, plant rental, consumable and industrial supplies and is set to run from October 2022.

SFI go beyond equipment and offer a full-service solution package with security of supply to help UGL achieve Zero Downtime and cost certainty. SFI Australia also offer a buy-back on unused industrial supplies and consumables, helping UGL reduce costs and helping the environment by reducing potential waste.
