Achieve commercial control on your project through cost certainty

Selecting the right tools, equipment and industrial supplies and having them available is critical to productivity and being able to effectively facilitate a shutdown or construction project.

This reduces downtime and helps mitigate risk and unplanned stoppages. Conversely, a poorly planned and under resourced shutdown or construction project can cost more in the long-run and have significant implications for safety and compliance.

Not only are the tools and labour required for executing a shutdown extremely expensive, but the revenue lost through shutting down sections of production can be significant to the overall annual budget of a company, giving management and key stakeholders genuine cause for concern.

SFI partner with you to solve the problem by providing cost certainty on tools, equipment, and industrial supplies, giving you commercial control of your project.

Cost certainty – the benefits

Having cost certainty on tools mitigates against the risk of a blown budget. The ability to accurately budget and finish projects within time frame and avoid blowouts of budgets is critical to the success of a shutdown and turnaround.

The end goal is to be able to safely return the site to full working capacity (or even additional capacity) as quickly as possible, that’s why at SFI we work with you to achieve Zero Downtime. This is where SFI Australia partner with you to make the process easier and streamlined, ensuring cost certainty on tools, equipment, and industrial supplies, including consumables.

We offer a one-stop-shop – where our team provides a customised, comprehensive list of equipment and consumables to suit the job scope and ensure the project can begin on time, with greater confidence.

Just how do we offer cost certainty?

SFI Australia specialise in major construction projects and shutdown events. We know what is required and have the experience, infrastructure, and capacity to support your business.

By purchasing larger quantities upfront at current pricing, we’re able to reduce the risk of further inflation. We then de-risk any surplus issues you traditionally may encounter with our SFI Asset Buy-Back Program.

We provide costing reports and smart consumable analytics through our Monitor™ logistics management system software. This is designed to solve any equipment inventory problems through end-to-end tracking in real time, giving you greater commercial control, so you can finish on time and within budget.

Monitor™ gives you flexibility and with our Smart Analytics helps to inform and guide efficient stock decision making and reduce costs. Monitor™ also tracks compliance to make sure all tools and equipment are safe and fit for purpose.

Demobilization and project surplus – how you can turn potential waste into profit

Shutdown and construction projects often require the use of many tools and consumables. With our security of supply approach, we de-risk your project by ensuring that you always have the right tools and adequate supply of consumables on hand. At the end of the project, we buy back unused stock, creating the ultimate circular economy.

Our preparedness and accurate monitoring allow us to predict stock on hand and any excess stock. We work with you to help limit your unused surplus stock and minimise potential waste via our Asset Buy-Back Program.

This means that we can provide a surplus inventory refund on all consumables, all while ensuring tool compliance and minimising any risk of incidents from not having the correct equipment or sufficient tools and consumables onsite.

In addition, our predictive AI system recognises stock levels to ensure your supply chain is always guaranteed with zero stock outs, providing peace of mind.

At the end of the day, this means that any potential product waste or surplus from your project doesn’t go to waste we simply buy it back.

By doing this, we give you peace-of-mind in the security of supply, offering you greater oversight in planning ultimately commercial control of your project.

In doing so, this systems-focused approach aids the business’ corporate social responsibility by reducing any potential environmental impacts, creating a more sustainable and circular economy.

Corporate Social Responsibility – achieved through actions, not words

As the world evolves, we’re at the forefront with innovation forming a core part of our ethos and mission. Coupled with that is a genuine care for the environment, sustainability, and ethical operations – making sure things are done the right way.

At SFI Australia, we perform risk assessments to make sure both ourselves and our customers partner with reputable companies. Whether it be in the supply chain phase or operations phase, we work with our partners to not only achieve Zero Downtime but make concerted efforts to verify the validity of our supply chain and ensure we operate in ways that enhance, rather than degrade, the environment and society.

This includes investment in renewable energy sources and carbon offsets, creating a circular economy through recycling, repairing, reusing, or repurposing of equipment, in the process minimising waste and pollution.

We also ensure suppliers are beholden to the highest standards, after all, it’s what we would expect of ourselves, and is why we work diligently to ensure that ethical processes including ethical labour practices for any worker and contractor are being followed.
