With the Pluto LNG Interconnector Project set to run for approximately 12 months, SFI has committed to opening a new branch in Karratha, WA, further supporting our commitment to zero Downtime on key projects.
SFI Australia has long been the trusted partner to the mining and energy industry in Western Australia through critical shutdowns and construction.
Partnering with UGL and Altrad, SFI Australia will be supplying full turnkey Temporary Store Facility managing all tools, equipment and industrial supplies including plant rental and equipment hire, general equipment and specialist tooling.
SFI Australia are supporting this project with full-time management of the Tool Store with our experienced Stores and Logistics personnel.
Damien (or Damo as we call him) our Stores and Logistics Manager on the project commented that “This is exciting… the Stores Hub has arrived fully decked out with all the tooling and industrial supplies and our MONITOR logistics management system now action tracking all equipment and consumables.”
The Stores Hub includes a dozen containers with an incredible 13,000 individual tools and over 40,000 consumable items. This is accompanied by our state-of-the-art MONITOR Logistics Management System which ensures commercial control with tracked tools, inventory management, tool compliance and audits as well as materials management.
