SFI announced as a supply partner for Bechtel on the Pluto 2 Train Project

SFI Australia are pleased to be a supply partner for Bechtel on the Pluto 2 Train Project in Karratha WA.  Working alongside Bechtel and local suppliers, SFI will be providing supplies, equipment, and consumables during construction.

Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

The Pluto Train 2 project involves expansion of the existing Woodside-operated Pluto LNG onshore facility through the construction of a second LNG train. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity.

Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of approximately 5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).

SFI  Australia are supplying tooling, equipment, and consumables to Bechtel. Additionally, Bechtel has purchased a containerised store setup from SFI.

This partnership highlights our strategic reach and continued commitment to Western Australia.
